Fall for Shoney’s Restaurants Dixie Tater Chips Baskets

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 5, 2006) – Shoney’s Restaurants guests will be whistling Dixie with Shoney’s new Dixie Tater Chips Sandwich Value Baskets.

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 29, Shoney’s customers will have their choice of five delicious sandwich baskets served with Dixie Tater Chips starting at $4.99. The new Dixie Tater Chips are deep-fried potato crisps, lightly salted and full of flavor.
           
“Our new Dixie Tater Chips baskets are a great menu addition and give our guests a tasty alternative to french fries,” said Todd Stratton, Shoney’s research and development corporate chef. 

Guests will have their choice of five signature sandwiches: the philly cheese steak sandwich, the Slim Jim, the Grizzly Burger, the pot roast sandwich and the turkey club wrap.
